Toolcraft AR10 308 Bolt Carrier Group Black Nitride Reviews

4.9 Rating 56 Reviews
I tried swapping barrels on my M&P 10 and found Smith and Wesson uses proprietary bolts and barrels. Having had experiaenxe with a Toolcraft 6.8 BCG I did not hessitate to order a Toolcraft .308. I was a little nervous, worrying that S&W also had a proprietary upper, but the BCG slid right in like a precision instrument. With a lifetime warrenty how can you go wrong. Jeff

this is a beautifully machined BCG no tool marks or burrs anywhere. the gas key has some of the best staking I have seen. all four of the stakes touch the grade 8 bolts as they should. the nitride finish is perfect and very well applied. I just wish I would have bought a spare but I will in the future.

I ordered the Toolcraft AR10 BCG and when the shipping box arrived it had been opened during transit through the USPS and was empty. I notified Monmouth about the situation and they told me exactly what I needed from the USPS so they could submit an insurance claim. In the same email acknowledging receipt of the info they authorized a replacement that arrived 2 days later. BCG itself looked great and fit perfectly in my .308 upper. Can't wait to fire it.
