If it works as an OEM bcg for our armed forces, why pay hundreds more for a logo?

Simply the best BCG for the money. I cannot justify spending more money on other BCGs when Toolcraft is just the best. The finish is amazing and so easy to clean. Carbon practically wipes itself off; very minimal effort needed to adequately clean it. It's also milspec and full auto rated at a great price, what's not to like?! This is my third Toolcraft BCG and I'll never buy anything else.

Take this review with a grain of salt since I've only put 120 rounds through the rifle with this BCG so far. With that said, my initial impression is extremely favorable. Good staking on gas key, nice slick finish as opposed to all my existing phosphate BCGs. It's easy to see what the hype is about on AR15.com and other boards: Toolcraft is a very nice BCG for the money. Having handled Lantac and other Gucci BCGs, this feels and looks every bit as well made as the others. I'd say it's all the BCG you need for a fighting rifle. The only thing it lacks is a cool logo. But your ejection port should be closed to keep gunk out so who cares about that? I'm looking forward to running this more next week once I have some days off. If things keep going well with this, I'll buy a few more for my other rifles.

Awesome BCG. Bought it for a mk18 build. Put 200 rounds of quality and cheap ammo through it in one range trip. Ran flawlessly. Finish is also great. Would definitely recommend this BCG.

Gas keys staked very well, finish on the bolt looks good no marks at all. Will definitely be looking at these bolts for future builds.

Gas key was staked poorly and had to take the BCG to an armorer for tightening after gun firing issues, it was deemed the gas key was not tightened to specs and he used Loctite to fasten it down. Disappointed in QC to allow a loose gas key to making it past the QC people.
