Toolcraft 5.56 NATO / 223 Rem Bolt Carrier Group w/ C158 Bolt | DLC Reviews

Smoothest coating I’ve found, definitely worth the money! Highly recommend for a seriously noticeably smoother action and recoil.

I am amazed at the quality of this bolt carrier. The DLC coating is beautiful. It feels slippery to the touch. I have never had a BCG that was this easy to clean.

Pretty impressive bang-for-buck deal - a DLC-coated BCG for less than some plain phosphate-coated ones cost! Went with the 9310 bolt for the added bit of strength(the same alloy that vehicle transmission gears are made from), and the DLC coating because it's harder and yet slicker than nickel boron. Pound of prevention in case it runs dry at a time when I can't stop to oil it. After the initial shakedown run, I'm glad I went with this one. SO much easier to clean than mil-spec, most carbon just wipes right off!

The bolt carrier is perfect and functions flawlessly as on would expect from Toolcraft. The issue is the DLC coating. It appears to be well applied and even but it is not slick as described in the description. I suspect a QPQ BCG would be smother. The only reason I gave it a 4 is I got it on sale and I know it will last for ever. If you want slick and black spend another 100$ and get the mystic black bcg from cryptic coatings which I believe is a tool craft just with a much better coating and finish.

Shot 4 rounds hand feeding to set gas block, then put in 20 round mag in. The Toolcraft BCG cycled perfectly! Will use for my next build
