Toolcraft 5.56 / 223 Chrome Phosphate Bolt Carrier Group - 158-Carpenter-Steel-Bolt Reviews

5 Rating 3 Reviews
I have not shot tens of thousands of rounds through these BCG's to really know through personal experience how durable these are. I may never shoot enough rounds to really put them to a true durability test either. However the reasons I bought them, five of these BCG's to date, is due to two things. One is the BCG review at SOTAR where the benefits of this specific type of bolt were laid out in compelling fashion. The other is the various sites where Toolcraft has popped up that I have come to rely on for accurate assesment of products. Toolcraft gets consistent good reviews there. To date I have had no failures or problems with these.

I have some old ARs that have the “semi auto only” bolt carrier which means a lot of mass was cut off the bolt carrier. This caused to non optimal ejection and greater wear. Replaced with these and the added mass “well original mill spec mass”. Helped with over gassing. These are not fancy ion bond, but true milapec that is chrome lined and will take a beating. With out live me and my kids who get them next. Excellent BCG, Bolt for the $. Nothing fancy but quality. Yes I would buy again!!!

Toolcraft is undoubtedly one of the best BCG manufacturers. The machining, finish, and assembly of Toolcraft parts are always top-notch. This BCG delivers exactly what I've come to expect from Toolcraft.
