“I've used toolcraft carriers in several AR builds, 15s and 308s. All have been better quality than you'd expect for the price. Fit and finish on this one is excellent. It's going into an Aero upper with a Ballistic Advantage in 6.5 Creedmor barrel. DLC looks and feels great, expect good performance and life. I'll update after assembly and tests. By the way. The description doesn't say, but it has dual ejectors. I'd like to see the dual ejector bolt only offered.”
“Operates and cleans just as advertised. My first DLC coating with all others being NIB. Will go with DLC in the future. Have not had it for long but so far functions great in 6.5 Creedmoor in my DIY LR308.”
“This is one slick BCG, simply wipes clean with a cotton rag with a little CLP. I will be buying these instead of the Nickel Boron from here on out. While the NB looks good with the port door open, cleans easy, it just doesn't wipe down as easily as the DLC.”
“What can I say? I purchased this BDC for my 6.5 Creedmoor build. It has performed flawlessly. During the barrel break-in and 120 rounds later zero failures, zero ejection problems. 120 rounds isn't a lot but I just built the firearm. I'm very happy so far.”
“Skip the expensive brand names and logos, unless you wanna be a walking advertisement. This BCG is legit. Great machining finish with very few if any discernible machining marks, properly staked gas key, very slick and smooth coating. No complaints. I've purchased many Toolcraft bolts and find they perform as well as other brand name bolts like, BCM, WMD, Fail Zero, or Aero Precision. No major problems ever with FTF, FTE, double feeding, etc. Don't hesitate to purchase this bolt if you're lucky enough to find it in stock.”
