“Tool craft DLC 6.5 Grendel BCG…rated at 4 stars because I was a little disappointed in the DLC finish. Doesn’t appear to have an even finish and not that slick as I’ve felt on other DLC BCGs.”
“This bcg is as nice as I’ve seen staked proper and as slick as can be I headspaced the bolt with Manson gauges in my Criterion barrel very snug with go gauge and no way in hell with no go gauge. Very pleased with Arm Or Alley have made multiple purchases and always fast delivery can’t go wrong ordering from here.”
“Upon examination, I saw no tool marks, the finish seemed even, and was properly staked. I have now put about 300 rounds (2 Hornady and 4 Federal) through the the gun and it had no malfunctions. (I know, 300 is not a torture test. Big $ diff between .223 and 6.5 Grendel) It would be subjective to say it cleans up easier than a nitride bcg, but clean up was easy, just wiped it off. Extra elbow grease not needed. I can not comment on long term wear and tear, but I’m optimistic. I’m happy with it and would recommend it.”
