“Seeing Central Australia has been a lifelong dream of mine and I went in to this trip with extremely high expectations - all of which were well exceeded! Firstly, the food was far better than I could have believed. We never went hungry, the vegos in the group were well-catered for and the meat cooked to perfection. The camel burgers were a particular highlight! Honestly, the best camping food I've ever had. The sights we visited were simply awe-inspiring to look at! My pictures are better than postcard quality and the views will stay with me for life. The hikes were perfectly balanced and the heat really wasn't too bad thanks to the super early morning starts. Sleeping in swags under those amazing stars was another highlight, even with the threat of dingos and snakes being ever present. In the end, I was kind of disappointed that we didn't see any! What made the tour was the people. Our guide, James, was literally FANTASTIC - even if his perception of time is a bit off ! Such a fun personality, really good at getting the group talking together and becoming friends; the perfect balance between personable and professional. Furthermore, he is very passionate and knowledgeable about the areas. Everyone in the group worked well as a team, which made the experience all the more enjoyable. I cannot recommend this tour more highly! I could write a whole essay about how great this tour was, seriously. Especially at this price point! If camping and contributing is your type of tour, you absolutely cannot go wrong with Mulgas! The only disappointment was having to go home at the end.”
