We booked a daytour with frazer island tours. we drove all day in very full tourist bus through the island. we only left 4 times the bus,but 2times for less than short 10 minutes and a couple of times for max. a 1/2 hour, the remainder of the day we spent on the complete tourist bus. we wouldn't recomend this trip and it had been totaly not well worth the money!

To start the day, we waited at their office for 45 minutes for the bus which was too late to catch the ferry we were alleged to get on . Once we need to the island, we waited more thanks to some people missing the bus/ferry then a drag with an individual on the bus. So after checking in with them at 8am, it had been almost 11am before we need to see anything on the island.

This trip was on my bucket list as an area I should experience. I cannot believe this tour went ahead in spite of the weather forecast. We experienced torrential rains from the beginning of the journey until the end of the journey. We travelled 175km from Bundaberg and that we were unable to seek out a seat on the ferry. We ended up standing for the 35min journey on the bottom deck between six cars which was the only place we did not get wet. Once we were seated on the bus we hurtled along the bush route and that i had to hold on tightly to my seatbelt the entire way. They even decided that we should always do the rainforest walk whilst the rain was stottering furiously the entire time. As for swimming, no thanks but my bathers were saturated because they were within the bottom of my bag on the bus which was swimming in water thanks to everyone beginning their wet weather clothing and umbrellas.

We just did a 2 day Fraser Explore Tour leaving Rainbow Beach. At the top of our 2nd day, Fraser Explore Tours made a serious mistake and returned us to Hervey Bay rather than Rainbow Beach. Unacceptable from a multi million dollar co. Obviously we weren't on any busman s list in Hervey Bay and therefore the bus driver on the bus returning to Rainbow Beach that afternoon which we were alleged to have been on, if/when he realised he hadn't ticked us off his list, didn't even attempt to find us! Did he ever wonder where we'd disappeared to? We had no choice but return to Fraser Island on the last ferry back that night because the lady within the office said it wasn't up to her to help, and once I asked, she said there was nobody in authority available on behalf of me to phone

Excellent visit to a gorgeous island. Our guide, Brian, was very friendly and knowledgeable, and ensured that our day was filled with amazing sights, local tips and even a sighting of dolphins

Mark was the great guide I have ever experienced. Marks knowledge of Fraser - K'gari (Paradise) together with his stories of the Butchulla Aboriginal people the conventional owners of the island, certainly made my day, one I shall never forget
