“Shuttle was waiting at Ketatahi Rd when we arrived 15 minutes before our departure. Pleasant driver provided instructions and efficient drop-off for one-way hike. Would recommend.”
“Bus was on time, and driver friendly. But it wasn't clear on backpacker deals that this shuttle provider (unlike others) does not include access to the secure car park - you'll need to park on the side of the road (lots of cars do park on the side of the road at Ketetahi, however if you want to park in the patrolled car park you'll need to pay $10 per car; so still cheaper to use this deal if there's a group of you, otherwise it's cheaper to use on of the other providers).”
“Very easy way to do the crossing from Taupo if you don't have a car. I got picked up in front of my hostel at the agreed time and was dropped off at the start of the hike. There was enough time to hike the trail and take some time for lunch/taking lots of pictures. The shuttle waited at the end of the hike and the driver even tried to call me to see if I was doing okay!! The shuttle is also a great way of meeting other people that will walk to track, so you don't have to walk it alone!”
