“We visited in March and the glow worms were out for all to see. They weren't as glow-y as the promo shots, nor were there as many and we didn't see any of the glow-y beads. But the glow worms were certainly there and the cave was cool to tour with the rushing water, the darkness, the quiet bits and the canoe ride in the dark on the cave water. That canoe ride was almost meditative.
We did the 5:45 tour, and we witnessed a beautiful sunset on the boat ride back to Te Anau. We loved that boat ride. Cheers ✨️”
“The boat ride as well as the cave were really informative. The small boat ride in the cave under the glow worms was peaceful and unique. I haven’t done other glow worm experiences but would definitely recommend this one.”
