I booked with the discount deal and was surprised this wasn’t more expensive, it felt like a premium trip. At one point, they cut the engines and just let us listen to the silence, which was surreal. No dolphins or seals that day, but honestly didn’t mind. Pure peace.

One of the best nature days I’ve had in NZ. It’s not a super flashy tour, but that’s the point. Just you, the water, and massive landscapes that make you feel tiny (in a good way). The crew was chill and shared some cool info, but didn’t talk the whole time, which I appreciated. Long day, but so worth it.

Absolutely loved this cruise. Getting there takes a bit, but it was all worth it! We had some light rain and honestly it made it even more dramatic. Bring warm layers, it gets chilly.

We were lucky as we had picture perfect weather - which just made this the most spectacular day!

The cruise was amazing. I did Milford sound just a day prior, and if you have the time and money, I would recommend to do both. Everything went very smoothly and in general I would recommend it to everyone :)

Good value for the days outing. Weather is difficult to predict the other side of mountains so you don't know if you will see breath taking views or clouds that just fill the sound. Will try again and hope for clear sky's

Wonderful trip during unseasonable Spring snowstorm. Everything was so well organised from check-in to return to base. Each aspect of the return 3-part journey - boat across Lake Manapouri, coach across Wilmot Pass and the actual Doubtful Sound cruise - was brilliant. Coach Driver Jonny made us feel very safe as he navigated the snow chained coach across the snowy mountain range. The cruise was awe inspiring. I'd like to return on a sunny blue sky day but being in Fiordland during a blizzard (at sea level) just made it so impressive. Lots of waterfalls and breaks in the storm allowed wonderful long distance views. Simply stunning!

The whole experience was magical. The scenery was incredible as were the hosts. Their commentary was interesting and relevant. We did not feel like a tourist but a visitor to their own backyards! So big ups to the staff for making the day even more memorable. We were lucky enough to head out into the Tasman sea at the end of the fiord. Wow. Would definitely recommend this incredible day to all our friends and family. Thanks
