As an avid photographer the Queens Birthday Weekend flight has brought to my expectations. The weather was beautiful with blue skies and peaceful conditions that provided a smooth passage over the high peaks. We took a fog on the ground and quickly drove it over the spectacular front mountains that fell over the Skippers and the high peaks of the Southern Alps where the moderate speed provided ample opportunity for pictures of glaciers nearby, and then crossed the Hollyford Milford Sound. We had a buffet lunch - limited in price to what it was, but the views and colors were fun. Amazing experience.

My friends and I had booked a Milford cruise flight with Glenorchy Air but the weather was not good enough to land in Milford so we were given the opportunity to have a magnificent flight instead. Everyone on the trip agreed so we went and this is a chance not to be missed ... wow. We moved closer to the glaciers and frozen lakes and to the beautiful soundtracks and waterfalls of Milford. My advice would be to make sure you take advantage of any opportunity to be able to see this beautiful part of the world. The arrival of the magic at Milford was followed by a continuous sightseeing of the flight back to Queenstown. What an experience. High marks for our Ruben pilot !!

Excellent location and views, can be recommended. During the voyage we were not sure if the food was packed or not and where we should stay, but in the end there was ample time to see it all. From there we climbed along the Sound before heading south over the Milford track to the top of Sutherland Falls before returning to Queenstown. A memorable trip with an alert pilot. Good experience.
