“We wanted a chilled day but still something active, and this was a great balance. Hiked up to the summit (sweaty but worth it), then spent the afternoon by the beach. The beach is seriously stunning. Water was clear, not too crowded, and the turtle centre was a nice bonus.”

“Nice way to get out of Cairns for the day. Island is small but really pretty. We didn’t do any guided stuff, just rented gear and explored. Only downside was the food at the island café—it’s not great, so maybe bring your own lunch.”
