“The tour was very easy to book but on reflection a bit pricey. We found out that we were able to book transfers ourselves which were only $61.90pp and although lunch was also included, it was only 1 main meal pp (no drinks) and wasn't worth $74.
Hamilton Island is well worth a visit there are some stunning views and a lovely resort where you can relax by the pool, grab a drink from the pool bar or challenge someone to a bit of table tennis. It's quite hilly, so unless you're prepared to walk, you'll need to either use the free shuttle bus (which we did) or hire a buggy ($119 per day), but you may have to do that in advance. Overall, I'd say yes to Hamilton Island, but I'd book the transfer separately, and then you have more flexibility on timings, choice of food, as well as the potential to save some money.”
“Hamilton island was very pretty, not much to do if you want a buggy to get around book ahead, full day was way to long , lunch at the Marina was from a modified menu not the full menu, overall pretty expensive for what it was”
