“Amazing crew who make sure everyone has an amazing day. You really get the feeling they love what they're doing and spreading joy is their main goal while safety is ensured at all times. I highly recommend the guided snorkelling tour to make the most of your reef experience. Especially if preceded by the informative Marine Biologist presentation you get the chance to gain some basic understanding of the marine life in the area and to spot a number of its treasures. “Was great fun going out to Michaelmas Cay with Ocean Spirit. The service was impeccable, and everyone was ready to help. We saw beautiful corals and marine creatures in semisub. Food was also good.”

“Want to get away from the masses? The Ocean Spirit Cruises take only 50 people with a highly experienced, efficient and experienced crew that work well together. Snorkeling or diving the Great Barrier Reef is high on lot's of peoples bucket lists and we can highly recommend the experience we had with them. A highlight was the staff power point presesntation about what fish and differnt coral configurations we'd see. Once we landed on Michaelmas Cay, they expertly guided our snorkeling experience with vigilance, and safety consciosness. After snorkeling and a hearty lunch, we experiened the semi-submersible boat. We really didn't know what to expect. About 20 people sit in the belly of the craft which is underwater with viewing windows. The skipper maneuvers the craft to view the coral reefs while staff narrates what we are viewing. The attached pictures are pretty ""green"" because of photosynthysis, but you get the idea. It was an unexpected pleasure! Thanks for providing us with a memorable day on the Great Barrier Reef! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!”

“It’s all about the staff on these cruises, and this is a top-notch crew of folks who love their job. The day has the logistics and planning of a fine-tuned daily departure, but with the personal touch of a one-time sailing. There are no boring scripts that sound recycled for years, just honest guides making the most of the day. Tips: (1) Do not consider diving if you have any medical conditions, as they are very safety and liability focused, so they will decline your dive. (2) Depending on the season, prepare for wind. (3) if you want plenty of time to snorkel and enjoy the beach, skip the mini-sub or eat quickly. Time flies if you do both.”

“Amazing trip highly recommend Very well organised safety and info briefing very good and snorkelling very well supervised. Chilled out day in a gorgeous tranquil cay Ideal for beginner to snorkelling (me!) and going out from shallow beach lovely The reef was absolutely stunning one of the most special moments in my life , make sure you snorkel far enoigh to see it in proper beauty I saw several large turtles which was mindblowing too Lunch lovely food and plenty of it , cake and fruits later also exceptional Crew very friendly and also as solo traveller met plenty of people to speak to”

“Absolutely epic day on the Great Barrier Reef aboard Ocean Spirit!! Beautiful boat, very spacious and stunning reef. Loved being able to go onto the Cay and check out all the birds too. Matt, Nico and Scotty put in the extra and made our day on the way home ;)”

“Had the best time on the Great Barrier Reef with the Ocean Spirit boat. Staff were amazing and food was delicious, finishing off with a cheeky glass of champagne and some treats. The cay was beautiful and has easy access to the corals as you can walk from the beach. Overall, highly recommended for snorkellers and people who don't like getting into deep waters.”
