“Quick take: We’re not backpackers, but still loved the vibe. Avatar is fast, smooth, and roomy. Great mix of lone travellers and couples. Snacks, dialects and laughs shared over dinner. Snorkelled with fish and turtles, hiked to the lookout, and camped out on nets under the stars. Dorm accommodation was fine, bring earplugs for light sleepers. Would absolutely do it again!”

“The crew were amazing made the experience 10x better, Sammy was hilarious and really made sure everyone was comfortable as well as having a great time. The whole crew were professional, kept everything steady and safe. The food was also amazing! Would definitely do it again.”

“Incredible experience, the crew is just amazing! I met a lot of really funny and crazy people on this boat, it was just about having fun all together. They brought us to the best places such as the breathtaking Whitehaven beach in the morning or even snorkelling on the Great Barrier Reef. I recommend it to all people who love adventure, sunrise/sunset and seeing a lot of wonderful fishes. Thanks a lot for this trip, you guys are legends!!”

“he mix of people on our boat made the trip. Backpackers, a few couples, solo travelers—by day two we were sharing snacks, sunscreen, and Spotify playlists. Whitehaven was picture-perfect, but the real highlight for me was the quiet evenings, watching the sky go full pastel while the water glowed underneath us.”

“Loved Avatar! Every part of this tour felt next-level. Whitehaven was the most gorgeous beach I’ve ever seen—pure white sand, warm clear water. Spent so much time laughing with people I’d just met. The sunsets from the boat were something else. Crew treated us like friends, not just tourists.”

“If you’re even thinking about doing a sailing trip in the Whitsundays, just book it. Best decision I made. The crew was hilarious and made sure we hit all the good snorkel spots. Whitehaven was hands-down the most beautiful beach I’ve ever seen”
