“These shoes provide great support and look incredible! I absolutely love them and the way they look. It took me a while to break these shoes in. I found that to begin with, the shoes rubbed on my toes and the inner side of my foot (in line with my arch). I used blister pads to ease the rubbing while I broke the shoes in and now they definitely one of my favourite pairs!”
“I bought these in the dark tan nearly a year ago (sept 2019). They’ve been hard wearing, robust and have been excellent through the Sydney summer & much of the winter. Very stiff at first, they’ve softened a bit (not too much). I have a wide foot so had to go up a size. They look great with everything - jeans, pants, skirts - so they’re super versatile. I wish they came in black again! The back strap has stretched a bit, but again not much, I have only had to tighten it once since buying them.”
“This is my 9th pair of Bared shoes and as usual, it’s another winner! The colour, design, quality and style is beautiful.. and it’s also so so comfy! Such a dream to wear and walk in all day! I was a little worried about the sizing as my feet are slightly wider and I purchased online when normally I would go in to the store. “I am adding to my collection of Bared shoes, and the Heron has not disappointed. A beautiful shade of tan which goes with any outfit, and looks good with skirts or jeans. The back strap is adjustable which holds my narrow foot in place well, and no issues with any wearing in. Perfect from the start. Looking forward to some warmer weather when I can wear these more.”
“Bought a pair of these months ago and found them to look exactly as expected. I was a little worried on sizing as my feet are extremely narrow. But I bought my usual size and found them to be a decent fit. I think if I'd sized down my toes would've been squished at the pointy end. It also took a few tries to figure out the best fit when it came to buckling the slingback, and even now I"m not sure if it's meant to be looser or tighter, but it doesn't fall off when I walk (only when I sit back with my legs/feet forwards they sometimes fall off) so can't complain. They also leave sore marks where the top of my feet meets the top of the shoe, but I expect the leather will soften when I get to wear it out more in the summer”
