“I bought the brown pair online as they were sold-out in-store. I had tried the black pair on in-store with no issues but when the brown pair arrived and they are a different leather/fit and they are so tight around the calves that I can only zip them up halfway (for reference I'm a size 8 AU for clothes). The lovely customer service team suggested to wear them around un-zipped in the hopes that the leather softens and maybe they would zip up eventually, but that sounds uncomfortable and honestly embarrassing. I have returned them as I don't want to waste $370 if they don't soften enough to zip up. I have lots of other Bared shoes and have never had this issue before, I hope Bared can make their shoes more inclusive of different body sizes/shapes in future.”

“These are gorgeous boots, so I was very sad they wouldn't fit. Unfortunately due to the design, I couldn't get the zipper to do up and I don't have huge calves or ankles. There isn't enough stretch and the design means they hit right where the ankle turns into the calf, so if you have any muscle it will be too tight. I returned these (and the Raptor 2) for the Canary boots, which are lovely!”
