This is perfect for finish sanding. It is well balanced and when coupled with the Festool dust extractor, there is virtually no dust. I use this for sanding face frames, cabinet door edges or any tight areas. This sander is not intended for fast material removal, but will leave a swirl free surface that is ready for stain.

I am actually reviewing the Pro 5 Ltd sander, which is basically the improved version of the existing 125 sander. I must say, this is a great sander! Lightweight, powerful, clean to use and a joy to use. I took advantage of the Limited Time offer to get this sander at the special price of $99 and boy am I happy that I did! The only drawback is the price of the sandpaper. But, if it indeed does last longer than regular paper due to the improved dust collection, they it might just pencil out.

I bought this sander to use with my ct26 vac I'm used to using a respirator (still do) during most of my work I wasn't sure how efficient it was going to be at collection but it t has been fantastic I plan on trying the rotex next and breathing easy

Great sander, i'm happy with it. light weight which helps on the small pieces and edge work. Wish it had a little more power, but can't complain. Great sander for the price. Using with a CT Vac is a must, perfectly dust free.

My primary basis for comparison for this sander is my 5" variable-speed random-orbital Dewalt from the home center. In every way, the ETS125 is superior, but it's not quite the revolutionary tool that, say, the Domino, track saw, or Rotex sanders are. The main advantages of the ETS125 over my old sander are: --Lower vibration --Lighter weight --Better ergonomics --More secure dust fitting (the dust hose frequently detached from the Dewalt mid-task which was irritating. Since I have a CT vac I've never had reason to use the included dust bag, but from what I hear it works well. In retrospect, I wish I'd gotten the ETS150, but the 125 is definitely good enough to have replaced the old Dewalt as my go-to random-orbit sander.

I like the ets 125 eq sander because it is light weight and very easy to move around. It is a smooth running sander that performs very well with the different grits of sand paper that I used. another great tool from festool.

After using a multitude of various different sanders and the amount of them I owned that didn't last very long I decided to get this one to add to my Festool collection. It has been a true enjoyment to own this sander, does everything I could ever want or need and not to mention plugs into my vacuum and has cut the dust down floating around in my small shop! May cost a few more dollars than your average sander, but why pay for average to use on your project? great tool and very comfortable to use!
