“Bases work well excepting a persistent blinking LED. One unit has slight cosmetic damage as delivered (related to the shipping company truck crash that delayed delivery?). The other unit had a loose connector, causing the underbed LED to not function. Shipping tracking was non-existent from start to stop.
These bases are very heavy (about 200 pounds for a single assembled twinXL), taking 2 people to get them into the house and some creativity to do the assembly single handed. It took 2 hours per unit to assemble and flip. The attachment points for the elevation kit are not quite precise and the soft rivnut attachment points are prone to cross threading.
The printed instructions are not very clear. For a split pair apparently the bed headboard is supposed to tie the frames together.”
“The bases are great, the help we received from BedPlanet was outstanding. The Glideaway, chosen delivery service would not assemble the beds as we were told, we sent the frames back. Called BP and told them, 24hrs later they find an out of state shipper/assembler to deliver our bases. The new company PU'd the frames from the old Co. and came to our home. Job done, got a good nights sleep, thanks to BedPlanet's staff.”
