“This has been a great addition to my back yard. It does a great job at attracting some beautiful birds. I have not seen any squirrels trying to get into yet but I am not sure if that is the flavor or the design of the casing. Either way its great”
“We have a variety of feeders outside our home, filled with a large variety of feed/cakes for local birds. We have no trouble attracting a variety of types of birds, but we typically fall short on attracting Woodpeckers.
However, after approximately 3 days of having this cake installed in our small Suet Feeders, we started to see Woodpeckers! Then, we started to attract a small regular crew of them!
While this cake has attracted a lot of attention, it's held up for quite a while, given its size. The birds definitely have to work for their treats!
Bottom line:
This Suet Cake seem to be a magnet for Woodpeckers!
5 stars”
“The "peanut" suet cakes are easy to load into the feeder with no mess or fuss.
You just remove the packaging and slide the cake into the feeder. The cake embeds the healthy mixture of nuts and grains in a soy mix.
It holds well while inserting and birds seem to enjoy picking out the tasty treats.
We are in a nature area and draw quite a variety.
This suet cake mixture seems to appeal to many birds and there is little wate or seed thrown on the ground.”
“I have yet to have any birds go near this suet cake. I live near the woods so there's tons of birds but none of them have touched it. I'm going to attempt to hang the feeder higher up in a tree and see if we start getting some action.”
“This Birds Choice Peanut Suet cake was very easy to open and insert in the suet bird feeder. The peanut suet is made of all natural ingredients and attracts lots of different birds. You have to scare away the squirrels though because they love it too!”
“I am sure the birds would have loved this if they could get to it. I had a menacing squirrel hog this whole feeder up. I would chance him away at least 5 times a day. he just doesn't take a hint. The squirrels love this food.”
