“I, and many of the birds in my lawn have loved this for past year. However one cylinder was also loved
by at least one squirrel. Wonder if the intensity of the heat of the seed mixture had reduced after being
stored a few months. Or will rain wash the spice off the product?”
“This is a great product. It’s a hot cylinder that has Cayenne pepper which the squirrels raccoons etc don’t like but the birds love. Birds have a dry mouth so they can’t taste the hot pepper. A cylinder this size lasts about a month in my yard. Cylinders last so much longer than loose seed because they have to work a little harder to get each seed from the cylinder. This hot cylinder is great because there’s no waste, no shells that leave a big mess.”
