“I’ve been wanting a flythrough feeder to supplement my other perching feeders. This one attracts birds that don’t come to my tube feeders much—Cardinals, Catbirds, Titmice, Mourning Doves, Chipping Sparrows and Blue Jays love it. The roof not only keeps the food dry, bit provides some protection from the Cooper’s Hawk who frequents my yard. I did have to add a baffle to the pole to keep the squirrels out.i lkke the fact that the screen pops out easily for cleaning.”
“As long as we keep this feeder stocked, we consistently have 8-10 birds just hanging around all over this feeder all the time. The removable screen on the bottom makes periodic cleaning pretty easy. Just be sure to mount it with a squirrel baffle...squirrels love the buffet just as much as the birds”
