“What was really very disappointing here was that I ordered in advance to be delivered on my friend’s birthday and they arrived a day late. This is such a shame as it meant they were not as fresh as they should have been and also that my gift didn’t arrive on time. I didn’t want to send them early as I wanted them to be a special “on the day” treat as an alternative to flowers but I would recommend if you want to guarantee timing that you think about asking for an earlier delivery date.”

We do say with our Royal Mail tracked service that this is not a guaranteed service and there is a chance it can be delivered the next working day after the date you select at checkout.
