“I recently acquired a very modest apartment I could afford with social security, after 16.5yrs. of homelessness, living in my car. The only window I have is facing an inner courtyard. Unfortunately, there is no separation between the window frame & the door frame. So, because I wanted a certain "No Tools Required" inner curtain, I needed a shim for the curtain rod's footing, so it wouldn't get knocked down by the door, If & when I ever used it, which I rarely do. The building is made of cinder blocks, so I suppose in the interest of expediency, the window frame & the door frame became fraternal Siamese twins. Because of winter sloth & lethargy, limited finances, & a lack of awareness for a solution to the challenge of keeping prying neighbor's eyes on the outer side of the window, I'd covered the windows initially with poster board. I watched a few videos on youtube about hanging mini-blinds, & that looked like a giant headache & a second reason for the necessity of tools I still don't possess. Thank goodness I found your website online for reasonably priced "Custom Made" (YEAH!!!) blinds. I found a company who could make the shim through a hardware store referral, was able to borrow the necessary installation tools from a neighbor & ordered the mini-blinds from you. (I've had computer trouble with & limitations put upon my being able to upload pictures to an email in the past. The usual limit is 5-6 pictures through "Yahoo," but this web-link is not behaving either. I'd attached 4 videos already, & this email wouldn't take a 5th photo. I kept getting an "error" message. I inadvertently also deleted the 4th photo & I now also get an "error" message trying to "re-download" the 4th picture. I'll see if I can send this portion of my review / critique & try for a "Part 2") . . . hopefully. To be continued . . .”

“Ordered four blinds 22-1/2" and received four blinds only 22". Can make do with them but it's not what I ordered.”
