“Everything was sized perfectly. My beef was with the plastic mounts. These new shades were to replace 20 years old Levelor shades. The new shades seemed a quality step down but seemingly sufficient. I could not mount the new shades the same way as the Blindster mounts had only 2 holes to mount upward on an inside mount. The 2 holes provided would have had a gap based on where my window moiuldung contoured. I needed 2 additional screw holes closer to the window. This is how it was mounted previously. Unfortunately the only option was for me to buy shorter screws and mount directly to the wooden infor frame in the back of the window mount. This was a high risk move as I risked the window glass itself. Bottom line, your window mounts were less flexible than was Levelor had 2 years ago or that any stock Lowe’s shade has today. I was kind of bummed to be honest. Yet they are installed but in a way I would call “hack-a-Rama”.”

“The blackout blinds are great! They were easy to install and make the room look great. They are very much room darkening so I would recommend them if that is what you are going for.”

“My shades are working great! I did have some trouble with installation because I could not find any information about which way the brackets were supposed to be installed and how they properly fit on the shade. I looked up a video and reading the instructions could not find any information about the orientation of the brackets.”

“The blind was exactly what I wanted, order to delivery only a few days, installation was the easiest I’ve ever done in all my years installing at my different homes. Look, perfect for removing light from the window in my media room. The gray color blended right into the wall color. I highly endorse working with them! Great product!”
