“One step in the instructions is missing: how to attach the blinds after screwing in the mounting clips. My blinds are installed inside, so I'll describe what I figure out how to do it. Lift the blinds and press the front firmly to the top of the window sill and push onto the clip. Push the back up. Reach to the back of the clip with fingers to snap the metal clip into place because simply lifting the back up probably doesn't engage the clip. Do this for each clip. Additionally, if the Philips bit is short, there may be interference with the preinstalled metal clip. Use a long Philips bit if you have one. If you don't, remove the metal clips to screw in the plastic components, then add the clips back. Otherwise the clips get in the way of screwing the plastic pieces into the frame.”

“Loved being able to get free samples of the colors/styles I was interested in. Their customer service was excellent when contacted by email and phone. My only two suggestions for them: 1) When you order the blinds, it asks you to give each one a name. When the blinds arrived, they did not have the name on them, only the measurements. Thankfully, I had kept the measurements! 2) I had received an email that my package had been reported to FedEx and it was coming out of California. Four days later, FedEx still did not have the package. When I called, I was told that (mine, at least) were made in Mexico and had to come through customs to get to California. You are told that it is 4-7 days to get them and I did have them in that time frame. If I hadn't had the email with a tracking number that showed no progress for a time, I wouldn't have worried. The blinds were packaged well and arrived in excellent shape. They went up fairly easily and operate nicely. If I ever decide to order more, I will definitely get them from Blindster. “They fit exactly. We had a little trouble snapping the first one on, but after we realized we could loosen the catch screw a little to make the instalation easier and retighten it, the rest went up really easily.”
