“Decent blinds, but I had to try to fix all three that I ordered so that they would work properly. The worst one came with a piece that is used to lift and lock the blinds in any position that was different and inferior to the other two. It wasn't made as well as the other two and didn't hold up to shipping. I had to try to bend it and reposition it so that it would work and was really only able to get it to partially work for lifting the blinds and getting it to lock so the blinds don't fall all the way down. One blind had the string that controls the blinds tilt fall out of the metal piece that rotates with the center rod. I had to replace the string in the metal piece and push the tab down so that it wouldn't happen again. I had to reposition the strings that control the lift on the last one so that they wouldn't catch on anything like they were doing out of the box. Once I had everything fixed (the best i could anyway) the installation was easy. It wasn't going so well at first because I was trying to use a Phillips head on a drill for the screws but then realized that I could use a 1/4 socket that worked much better.”

“These are actually nice blinds. Easy enough to install. Gets 4 stars for several reasons. One, instructions could be better. They are kind of IKEA-like meaning they could have better illustrations. 2. The valence is plastic-looking. The valence that comes with the blinds is held on by magnets. Good idea. But the magnets are held on by tiny screws and upon opening the box I could see two out of the three had ripped off of the valence. I was able to re-attach them by screwing them into a new spot an inch over. 3. The valence had a very small portion of the corner damaged. Hardly noticeable once it is up on the blinds. Would give it 3.5 stars if I could for those reasons. Without those minor hassles I would give them 5 stars as they are really nice blinds and fit perfectly.”
