“Since the length of the window is 70", I was concerned that the blind would be too heavy for the mechanism to operate correctly but it works just fine. Just and FYI: the blind is heavy so it does take some strength to lift it but for the length we ordered that is to be expected. I ordered two at different times because I didn't want to pay for two if they didn't work correctly but we were so pleased with the first one we went ahead and ordered the second. I wish I could afford to replace the rest of the blinds in our home. These were purchased for our new kitchen and they really are the final and finishing touch. One problem (my fault) is that I measured incorrectly and the blind was about 1/4 inch too long so we had to "finesse" it into the brackets. One more thing, my husband (the fussy one) loves it. Both blinds came undamaged.”
