Not only did I order wood blinds I also ordered cellular shades. Needless to say I was very pleased with the quality of the products and the ease of installation. All the measurements were perfect and I have no complaints. I have ordered from blinds.com before and was impressed by their products but overall blindster,com was cheaper and of similar quality. I will be ordering from them again soon. Sign up for their email specials and wait for the 20% off deals!!

Love the blinds. My only complaint is that I read they had grooves in the back of the slats-not holes for the strings. Mine came with the holes. Not as much privacy.

I'm sorry for the confusion. The option that you described is know as the routeless or privacy option. The only blinds on our website that come with that option automatically are the 2" Privacy Wood Blinds. The routeless option is available on the 2" Vintage Stains Wood Blinds but you have to choose it and there is an upcharge. You can return these blinds to us under our Satisfaction Guarantee for a refund of the price of the blinds. Then we can reorder the blinds with the routeless option. Purchased blinds from Home Depot,JC Licht, Menards in the past. Probably would not purchase from Blindster in the future. Blinds seem flimsy and poor quality. Lift cord plugs do not fit flush against bottom rail, so the rail is tilted. Had to remove plugs and notch them so they would be more flush against the rail. Warning labels were poorly attached to bottom rail. Instead of being attached horizontally, they were attached vertically and can be seen. Valance was received with no side returns and even though they were mounted inside the protrude about 1/2". Returns would make a cleaner look. Overall not very satisfied and probably would not purchase again.

I'm sorry you were dissatisfied with your blinds. The lift cord plugs should definitely be flush against the rail. Thank you for fixing that issue. In addition, the warning labels should be neatly attached to the bottomrail horizontally. We can get your blinds remade so that the labels are not visible. At that time we will also remake your valance so that it has small returns. Inside mount blinds are normally made with a flat valance. The only time returns are needed is when the blind does not fit flush inside the window. All of our blinds have the depth requirement listed in the specification section. If your depth is not deep enough for the blinds you can order returns (smallest available is 3/4" from the face of the valance back). You can determine the size of your returns by subtracting the actual depth of your window opening from the depth required for a flush mount. Then when you place your order you can just put the notes on each line item telling us what size returns you need. I will call you to get the information we need to get your blinds remade. I used the 2" horizontal woods blinds for my 2 sliding doors to the patio.They were large (70x84) so I added the cloth tape for extra support. They are beautiful!! The cloth tape is a good idea for larger blinds as they are heavy, but still easy to raise and lower.Although the standard cord tilt control works well, I wish I has ordered the wand instead (just a personal preference). Installation would have been easier if my previous blinds were not mounted with 3" screws all in studs. Due to the width of the blinds, two people were required to install. The product was excellent and the service was amazing. Arrived early. One of the blinds was slightly shorter on one side when lowered completely. I emailed customer service,sent a picture of the blind. The same day, I received an email that they were remaking it and sending a new blind. I need shades and blinds for all windows and doors in my new home. I will be ordering EVERYTHING from Blindster. My experience was better than expected.

Nice quality wood blinds, easy to install. Operate smoothly. The only thing I'd change is the sticker with hazard notification...it's ugly and you can't get it off!!!

I'm sorry you were not completely satisfied with your order. I do understand your frustrations with the stickers on the blinds. We are required by Federal Law for Child Safety Regulations to put all of the stickers that you see on your corded blinds. I appreciate your understanding.

I installed the blinds. They look better than Drapes which I had. $750.00 instead of $3,000.00. Ray
