I have been loving these shades! Probably because I have had towels as shades for years, but the color was exactly as expected and were the perfect size. Price was high even though they advertise a big discount but in all of my research I couldn't find a shade anywhere else that matched the one I already had in the room from Lowe's. They very easily go up and down, no complaints. No shipping issues per say but I was told they were coming from Texas but shipping label said China. Weird.

We had shades everywhere except the kitchen. We found Blindster while doing a search for bamboo shades. We found one we really liked and took the measurements as shown on the site. We got exactly what we wanted and are very happy. It was very easy to install. The blackout liner works great when the sun is setting.

Overall the blinds are look nice from the front, but from the back (outside) the lining looks poorly installed and cheap. When I pull them up they're not level and they are 2 inches short in length.

I ordered the Deluxe Bamboo Woven Wood Shades in Chatham Oak with the privacy liner and they are exactly what I wanted! Production time was a little long, but they are 100% worth the wait. We ordered them for outside mount installation and hung them right on our window frame almost effortlessly. Blindster gave us the wood shade look we wanted for a fraction of the price that other companies are charging and without sacrificing the quality!!! I'll definitely be ordering from them again.

Shades are nice! Color and texture as described, workmanship good. Screws to brackets are made of inferior alloy. Three heads broke off half way in. Had to buy self taping screws to complete installation.

We have owned 10 houses now. We just moved into a 1910 house with huge triple windows in the bedroom and the living room and 11 foot ceilings. I ordered bamboo shades for our bedroom. They took 2 months to arrive from Hong Kong and a month for my husband to get around to hanging them. I was hoping they were made in Texas. My husband is not mechanical and dreaded doing it. BUT he hung all 3 in 2 hours and didn't get upset. He said they were the easiest shades he has ever hung. I usually get Levelor mini blinds or honeycomb shades, but splurged to buy these. They were very expensive. I got them lined so no one could see in. Also got the outside mount so they fit right into the solid wood trim. They look fabulous. Try to order a sample first. I didn't have time, but now I wish I had. The Plymouth Bamboo color has a yellowish tint. Are OK, but I should have gotten a gray tint to put in our gray bedroom. They do have a film of dust on them. After hanging I wiped with a damp cloth on a mop. They also have an odor of bamboo. I put the UV air purifier in the room and shut the door for 24 hours. Is barely noticeable now. Well made shades if you can swing the cost!!!

These shades took a long time to receive, ostensibly because of the virus. I had to contact Blindster about them, then they were delivered immediately. So I don't really know where the hold up was. That being said, they are a very nice product and fit the windows perfectly. I recommend them.
