“I ordered two custom blinds with chain pulls. I measured openings correctly to the nearest inch as the online process allowed, but both needed to be measured to the nearest 1/2 or 1/4 inch to hang correctly (one was too short so I added blocks to the opening, one barely fit, but would not move because it was too tight). After the first was in place, the chain snapped and I asked for a replacement part and never recieved one. The company provides 2 sets of directions about installing the chain mechanism, clearly to try to help custonmers install the mechanism accurately given the poor directions in the first set (why not just print 1 clear set of directions, these are custom blinds)? I am really hestiant to take the company up on the "reorder" which costs another $45 and try this blind again because of the quality of the chain mechanism, but custom service continues to try and funnel my order to remaking the blind. It is unfortunate the product garentee aapears to be more of a run-around mechanism than an effort to stand by your product. Avoid the hastle of this process...these looked beautiful online, but the quality and customer service don't match-up with the price.”

“We wanted these solar shades to block the afternoon sun so we could enjoy our porch during the summer. They have been very helpful. A part (the clutch) broke on one of the shades when we first tried to lower it. I call Blindster and they were quick to send out the replacement part. Now it works perfectly.”

“We really like the shades. They operate well and look great. What is also nice is that the shades provides privacy from the outside nt see in - but allow light and allow one to be able to see outside. We are assigninng a 4 instead of a five only because 1) a more detailed secription of the color would be helpful - the shade was lighter than it appeared online; 2) the instructions could be clearer about the cord fastener - it was not intuitive”
