“My wife and I ordered exterior Solar Shades for our new screened in porch and they are incredible. The shades are not only attractive but the sun/heat reducing benefit was exactly what we were looking for. The blinds were cut to our specifications and the installation was relatively easy especially if your somewhat handy. The only area where I feel that the shades could be improved is that the plastic bracket provided with the bungee hold down system is too small and has hard edges that will eventually cut through the bungee strap. But, other than that, I would highly recommend these shades to anyone looking to improve the use of their screened outdoor space. Thank you Blindster...”

“The quality of the shade is exceptional. The fabric itself is not going to promote mildew and/or mold...and we live along the Nature Coast of Florida. The mechanism is simple, yet very strong. Removing the product from the packing was simple...in reality, the product is ready to hang. The mounting brackets are very practical, there is only one type to use on all installations. The only consumer-driven choice is what to use to fasten the mounting brackets to the window frame. We had an aluminum screened porch..hollow thin-walled aluminum. I happened to have my trusty old pop-rivet gun and that proved to be our perfect choice. If you window frame surface is wood, you're good to go with the screws included. If you have stucco or masonry, you will need the appropriate fasteners...bring a mounting bracket with you to your local hardware store or big box store. They will recommend what you should consider using. The mounting brackets can be used and fastened to the top frame or the side of the frame. Great design. One bracket for all. Installing these solar shades is nearly the same process as installing a standard pull down window shade. Once installed the operation is simple. It takes only a slight effort to raise the shades and likewise to lower them. We opted for the optional bungee cord and holding brackets for each shade. They work great! Seldom is there a day without a breeze and the shades are held down using the short bungee cords connected at the bottom window sill. Great option! The support staff was excellent. Very responsive and knowledgeable about the specific product I purchased. The overall appearance, durability and cost was a home run! We are thrilled and we have one more side of our outdoor screened porch to go. We will use the same product. I highly recommend these...remember these are custom cut solar shades designed for exterior use. Don't compare them to ready-made cheap shades. This is quality product and the price is very reasonable. Watch the website closely as you create the product you want...the price sometimes will drop offering a special limited time discount in addition to the regular discount. You can do the entire design and pricing by calling them as well. Truly a good product. Good support. Very fair pricing. Exceptional service.”

“These blinds are absolutely perfect. The detail and workmanship are top notch. They fit perfectly and really do the job for our deck. The late afternoon sun made it unbearable to sit out ...these blinds truly do shade the sun and the heat and they look beautiful doing it. I love them!!”
