I always take a pack of these with me hiking. The patches last for ages in my shoes and are versatile shapes so can fit any nook in my shoes. I don't think I'd be able to hike with a full pack without these patches - I get dreadful blisters without them. Pricey but absolutely worth the money for a high quality product.

Bought the combo pack in preparation for the Melbourne Oxfam. The mix of different patches is a great, cost effective option as I'm still discovering which areas need protection as the kms build up (and as I work my way through the fix my blister fast course)

I always found blisters formed in the same places on long hikes. Since putting the appropriate Engo patch inside my boots at the trouble spots I have been blister free. Rebecca's blog is very informative, explaining the reasons blisters form and why reducing friction between the boot and the sock with an Engo patch works. I can vouch for their longevity too, lasting 900 km on the Camino de Santiago as well as on mountainous terrain for about half the life of the boots, Deborah Cook, MANSFIELD, Vic. Australia

Loved reading this Deborah - thanks for sharing your experience! This certainly demonstrates how durable the patches are, even on challenging terrain. And thank you for your kind words. It's a pleasure to help

Following a 4 day hike in new boots, a couple of friction spots emerged that led to mild blistering, so in preparation for my next much longer hike I thought I would give the ENGOs a go. Used as instructed, they worked a treat. On day 2 of a 9 day walk, I had to wade through knee high water, drenching my beautifully comfortable boots. A few days later, only one of my 4 ENGO patches used needed replacing as it was peeling off. 9 day hike with full pack, no blisters, feet super comfortable. Will always carry the patches as part of my hiking emergency kit from now on.

As a long distance hiker, preventing blisters is critical to making a trip enjoyable and successful. For over 400KM of the John Muir Trail, my shoes had multiple ENGO blister prevention patches in them and at the end of the 20 day hike, my feet were still in perfect condition. . They stayed stuck to my shoes and inner souls for the entire trip which included several river crossing and didn't once come off. These products are amazing and the final frontier of blister prevention. I highly recommend them!

I bought this pack while training for walking the Camino trail in Spain, and have had no blisters since. I watched all the support material, found the hot spots and used the prevention shields and walked 300km in 10 days without a blister. Thanks again
