“This is the best sugar substitute I've found thus far. It is so good that I actually had to taste sugar and Bochasweet side-by-side to identify the difference. Yes, when doing a side-by-side taste test of each product, I could tell which was which, but the difference is VERY subtle. I had to do two taste tests to find the difference, but again its small. For those in search of a sugar substitute that actually tastes like sugar, don't bother with Stevia, Truvia, or Purecane. Stevia and Truvia are disgusting and they both have a horrible aftertaste. Purecane is... meh, with a mild aftertaste. Meanwhile, Bochasweet is dangerously close to sugar.Take it from me; I'm a sugar snob.”
“Tastes and acts like sugar. I don’t notice any bitter aftertaste. I’ve used it to make simple syrup, cookies and treats. I don’t recommend for candy making but that may have the candy maker. But overall since I use so little sweetener I’m willing to pay the high price because a bag lasts months. I recommend this product.”
“This is the best natural sweetenerYou cannot tell that this is not real sugar is the perfect sweetener it’s a little bit sweeter than regular sugar but once you learn how to use it it’s great the best better than Stevia in fact if you mix Stevia and this is even better especially for baking”
“You use it just like sugar, and it doesn't appear to elevate blood sugar levels. I'm diabetic. Not fond of the bitter aftertaste to stevia, no matter how much I (don't) use, sugar alcohols like erythritol aren't good for you, xylitol is a sugar alcohol but it messes with your digestion, despite being good for your teeth. Monkfruit is just like stevia, ....So I have had problems with any recipe calling for sugar or sugar substitute. Then I found BochaSweet. You use it JUST like sugar, even the amounts. I rarely use sugar, but when I start baking keto friendly recipes I'd like to use something, and this totally fits the bill. The only thing is it is expensive. But again, don't use it much anyway.”
