“I thought it would be nice to have a nature motif for her engagement ring. I put a sapphire on this setting to evoke imagery of water in a forest and it came out stunning! She absolutely adores the ring and gets lots of compliments for it. Highly recommend!”
“The ring is beautiful but the issues is that one of the side gems fell out with in 5 days of being out of the box. We took it to a local jeweler to see the issue. He stated that the gem was not only not properly set, but at the bottom of the gem there was a chip that was preventing it from fully seating.
I called the brilliant earth support line and was told that they have to "investigate " the problem and talk to my fiance to determine if it was a fault of ours. My fiance works a desk job and it fell out while she was sitting at her desk. Thr rep who I spoke with was very short with us and accusatory.
The chip was at the bottom of the ring where it was supposed to be set. We couldn't have have done such a thing unless we intentionally popped the gem out to put the scratch on it.
My fiance had only been able to wear the ring for 5 days before this happened. It's disappointing, I don't exactly have a lot of money but I spend good money on something special for the love of my life and it fell apart in 5 days of her having it, and then talked down to for not getting their insurance plan and spoke with as if it was our fault.
I wanted to get the marching wedding band but now I don't know.”
