“Was proposed to with this ring and I loved it because of the design and the emerald accents. I noticed on the first day that the stones were a little loose and so got the stones tightened the next day at the jeweler's when I was having the ring resized. The next week the stones where wobbly again I took it back and they re-tightened it but said I should only consider wearing it for special occasions because of the design they couldn't secure the stones any differently and everyday wear was loosening them. I then only wore the ring when going out for dinner dates or in social settings, never slept with it on or wore it at work. Two days later I lost the first emerald. $180 dollars already spent in having the stones secured and I still lost an emerald, still a new fiance so everyone still wants to see the ring and I feel ashamed that I was unable to protect the ring long enough to last even a month. Now the ring sits in it's box in the draw and I am too afraid to wear it again in case I lose any more stones.
It may look gorgeous in the picture but if you want a ring that is wearable pick another design.”
“So my Fiance absolutely loves the ring! However I'm beginning to worry a little bit about it's durability, specifically with the accent stones. She almost worships the ring and takes really good care of it. She will put the ring in the ring box and say she's putting ring to bed. She won't wear it to the gym ever nor in the shower, and especially at night. But just after a little after only wearing just over a month an accent stone broke. Hopefully this is just a fluke but it does make us wonder why the stone either fell out or broke and fell out. She doesn't recall ever hitting her hand so I don't know. Other than that it's a beautiful ring”
“Beautiful design, sparkly and shiny, and the emeralds add a lovely splash of color. It's a bit smaller than I expected based on the photo, but I guess they always look bigger in pics.”
“This ring looks great, but is very poor in workmanship and has been nothing but problems since when it was bought. Just a couple weeks after purchase, an emerald split and fell out of the setting. Brilliant Earth did not stand behind their ring, and charged us to have it fixed. A couple months after that, another emerald fell out of the setting, and again Brilliant Earth would do nothing to fix this. They offered to only look at it and tell us how much it would cost. The ring is less than 6 months old, and we are very disappointed in the quality, as well as Brilliant Earth's ability to stand behind their products. The ring was taken off for everything that could have cause wear or damage, including dishes, laundry, working etc. We took it to a local jeweler who found the side gems are not secured properly. They cannot source these small side emeralds, so we now have to scrap the ring and start over from someone else. This has ruined the engagement ring for my fiance, and has been a huge disappointment.”
“This ring was beautiful, but after only having it for 2 weeks one of the emeralds fell out. It was taken off before working out, washing the dishes and even showering and was not worn for any activity other then average daily activities. we had the emerald replaced at or own cost (Brilliant earth said it did not fall under the warranty even though it was still well under 30 days since it had been purchased). 4 months later another emerald fell out. safe to say I would avoid this ring.”
