I chose lab-created because of their discount to natural diamonds and given the fact that while diamonds are desirable particularly by women, they are not even a little bit rare. Actually they have no intrinsic value, only sentimental value. Therefore the diamond purchase game is to buy the best quality for the lowest price. Given the above, who cares about a natural diamond. Why pay more for a natural diamond when you are getting inclusions that dull the shine and offer zero greater value?
Because of the lack of rarity of diamonds, purchasing one is not a value proposition, it's a happy wife / happy marriage proposition versus hit to the pocketbook.
Brilliant Earth had the best quality (really excellent) at the best price I could find for a lab diamond and their service was easy and excellent to deal with.
I'm totally happy with the product and the experience. The diamond we received is the shiniest, and my wife loves it.
