I usually don't write reviews, but this is for a pretty important purchase.
I will however write a special review for Brilliant Earth.
I'm giving these guys 5 stars, and here is why.
I have been looking around for a little while, for the perfect engagement ring for my beautiful, now fiancee.
I am from Australia, and the "pre-made" ring selection options we have here, are, of very, very, very poor quality, at a high price, for a smaller carat size. Even lab grown diamonds weren't that much cheaper over here.
I even tried make your own style ring options in AUS, and, I just couldn't justify it from a value aspect. The price was not low, and if I bought another option from AUS, it would have been terrible quality in comparison to what we ended up getting from Brilliant Earth.
I looked up the price of the ring details, and then a custom diamond, and I feel, based on research I did, I got a really good deal. The same thing to purchase in Australia would have been excessively priced.
If you are from Australia, the cost that you see is with no tax, so please note that the final cost will be 10% more.
With the value aspect aside, their team also has exceptional communication, and nice natured.
The team here, were sending emails as to how it was progressing, and the customer support chat feature was quite good.
Even prior to purchasing the ring, I reached out to them a few times. They were always quick to respond and were pleasant people to deal with. I received the tracking number, on 25/04, and the ring was expected to be delivered by 30/04.
Once 5 days after you receive the tracking number, Brilliant Earth is not responsible for the item.
I got a bit stressed, as the estimated delivery date was on the 5th day.
I explained that I need a guarantee that if I don't receive the ring by 30/04, or, at all that they will be able to assist. They said since this was outside the US (if it gets sent from USA to USA, it will arrive within 2 days, but since it is international, it would take a bit longer, but it would arrive by 30/04.
If it didn't get delivered, for example, they would send another one of the same/similar spec out, at no extra cost. I took a screenshot as well, but, the ring did arrive on the correct day, and everything went well.
The packaging that the ring was delivered in, was exceptional.
I normally don't like jewelry, etc, but wow, this ring. Far out it looks good. They have done an exceptional job from start to finish with this product.
The whole process was excellent, I ordered the ring on 10/04, and received it on 30/04.
The staff were friendly, and I got re-assurance that I would get the ring, on the day they said I would.
Thank you so much, the whole experience has been great, and I encourage people not from USA to give these guys a try (or at least do some research on pricing options with them, as, this has been a great experience).”
