“So from my now fiance, before I proposed, I asked her what would her ideal ring look like (so that I could know for "the future" ) and was told 3 things that she would like on an engagement ring: 1) It had to be shiny silver color (no yellow gold), 2) Had to be simple, 3) Had to be "twisty".
The first two requirements were easy enough to find anywhere, but the 3rd criteria was a lot more difficult. Many times both in-store and online, I found twisty to be too much and interfered with #2 (being simple). It wasn't until I found this ring on Brilliant Earth, where it seemed to meet all the criteria she seemed to be looking for.
The problem now though , was that I was buying something that was online and I couldn't see the diamond. Sure, Brilliant Earth provided the GIA certificate, but, I wasn't able to see any zoomed up pictures that some other online retailers provided.
With that said, it seemed to match all the criteria she was looking for, while providing a better cutting on the diamond at a fairer price, I decided to go ahead and click the "Check Out" button.
The shipping was quick and I was eager to open the cardboard box to find a beautifully packaged box containing the ring. Opening up the wooden box, sat a very shimmery diamond atop a well crafted ring. Consider me impressed.
