“I wear my ring everyday and get complements on it all the time. It's simple and beautiful, and I can be proud of how the metal and stone were sourced. It collects a bit of residue over time between the prongs of the setting over time, but isn't viewable from above the stone and regular maintenance prevents any issues.”

Its truly a beautiful ring, its thin, which I like, I think it makes the center stone look larger; we decided to get a .5 carat center stone to keep cost down and I think it looks great. “I do not deny that I love the concept of ethical practices, but I have not been given quality customer care, nor a decent product. My fiance's ring is beautiful, but poor quality. The ring is bent for the second time in less than a year. After being blamed by Brilliant Earth that it received blunt trauma (I assure you, my fiance's finger has not been broken nor smashed recently), they told me I would have to pay for them to fix it. I finally gave in and agreed to their conditions. Well, as I said, it's bent again. They are giving me the same cue card dialogue and expect me to pay for it again. I only post this as a warning to others. Overall, I am satisfied with the ethical and beautiful look of the ring, but it is not worth fixing every 4 months nor the shoddy customer care.”

I found Brilliant Earth early in my search for an engagement ring, because I was interested in ethical jewellery. I searched a bunch of stores over the next couple months, looking for similar rings (I bought a .6 carat princess cut diamond), and discovered that no one was selling anything like it. The closest styles and diamonds were more expensive and not as nice. So I came back to B.E. It was definitely a wise decision.
My girlfriend absolutely adores the ring (we joke that she's much more expressive with that hand now--pointing with it and waving it dramatically when talking). Everyone that sees it agrees. And it doesn't hurt that I get compliments for my good taste. :)
The packaging was also fantastic. Such a neat box!
I should also mention that the customer service is excellent. I ordered it online, but I had questions about ring sizing and whatnot that I e-mailed to them. I heard back very fast, and all subsequent e-mail exchanges were just as quick and helpful. I was very impressed.
We just had the ring appraised for insurance purposes, and the details about the quality of stone were exactly right. The jeweller seemed genuinely impressed with it.
All that to say, I'm thrilled with Brilliant Earth and would recommend them to anyone.

“My best friend and I have been together for over seven years and we have two daughters together. We were recently married and he surprised me with this ring at the altar (instead of pulling out the ring I've had for seven years, he pulled out this one!). It's absolutely gorgeous. The paperwork it came with is comprehensive in it's information about the ring itself, where the ring an diamond came from (which is REALLY important to me), and the company. The ring is comfortable (I wash a lot of dishes with two kiddos, work in online marketing and sketch and draw a lot and it seems to be just fine for all activities), it's stunning (sparkly with just the right amount of color refracting, and very clean-looking), and it is surprisingly durable for such a skinny band. I highly recommend this to anyone who wants butterflies in their stomach when they wear it (I wear mine all the time!) =)”
