“I like the concept, but cannot get the product to come out. It's twisted to Open, I shake it, I brush it- nothing comes out. I even watched a tutorial. Maybe I got a defective one? I want to love it, my kid hates putting cream sunscreen on his face.”
Hi Leah, it sounds like your brush may be defective! Can you please reach out to us at info@brushonblock.com so that we can arrange to get you a replacement and also get yours back so we can trace the problem? Thank you!
“We have a sunscreen UV camera and did not appear to be getting good coverage. Flicking the brush does produce powder in the air but when applying does not seem to be transferring well. I like the idea, some does appear to be transferring but I do not trust this as anything but a supplement for my usual sunscreen application, especially for my children. Considering the price point, I expected more.”
Hi Ashley, we are sorry to hear this. We have also tested our sunscreen with UV cameras, and gotten excellent results. The trick is to be sure to apply to small areas at a time, and for a full 15 seconds to each of those areas. Buff it in for that length of time and you should find that the camera results change!
“Love love love this sunscreen brush! It goes on so easily… no more kids running away from putting their sunblock on. Doesn’t feel like you have anything on and is so easy to reapply all day long. The best!”
“My children (ages 9, 7, 4) loved using this way better than lotion. It was easy to apply and they have not gotten burnt since using it! Smells great, too!”
“I wanted this to work! I attempted to apply multiple layers to my kids, making sure it was open but they both burned. It does not come out as it should.”
Hi Amanda, if there is a concern with your brush working, please reach out to us at info@brushonblock.com. When applying to children, apply only to a small area at a time (half their face, one arm and hand, etc) and apply for a full 15 seconds to that area.
