“It is the first time that I actually spend my time to write a review, but I just have to express my thoughts on the Brydge. I bough the keyboard for my Ipad Pro 9.7 about a mounth a go and it has changed the way I use my Ipad. I had other keyboard before, but none gave the flexibility of the Brydge. I love that I can easily take my Ipad out and use it as a tablet or flip it over when watching movies and use it as a stand (with the back to the key) - only a minor part of the screen will be covered by the hinges.The hinges secure the Ipad, but they don't squeeze it too hard as to damage the screen. The hinges have not weakened after a month, not did the silicone that secures the Ipad. At first I was uneasy about having my Ipad "naked", but after a mounth I got over it because I am using it as a little laptop and have never dropped it. Both the keyboard and the Ipad have no scratches or wear. The keyboard came about 75% charged (as indicated by the led) and after a month it is still the same. I do not turn off the keyboard, it only enters into stand by. But, I have to admint that I rarly use the back lighting of the key... The keyboard wakes up the Ipad. The bluetooth connection works great. The key are extremely responsive, I have not experienced delays when typing nor doubling of the letters. A small fraction of a second delay appears when it wakes up from stand by. All shortcuts key work just fine, they are the same as for a Mac. The first instinct when opening the combo is to search for the trackpad (many of my friend did just that). As trackpad I use the on-screen keyboard (there is a button on the key board to activate it) with 2 fingers and never needed an actual trackpad. But, I do have some improvement sugesstion because although good, it could be perfected: 1. there a small indentation that should allow for an easy opening of the combo, but it is far too small and shalow even for my small hand and fingers. In my experience it is useless and I do have to open it as a book holding the combo vertical instead of lying it flat on the table. 2. the Control center cannot be accesed when the keyboard is in place. To do so, I have to raise my Ipad from one of the hinges, which is a bit annying when I wand to mirror it to my Apple TV. 3. I would very much appreciate a shortcut button for the microphone on the on screen keyboard to use the dictation function But, all in all, I to consider Bryde the best keyboard on the market right now and would wormly recommend it!”
