This is the best keyboard I have seen for an Ipad. Creates almost a laptop replacement. The only negative is no place to attach the Apple Pencil for the Ipad pro. Spend the extra money and get this keyboard.

This keyboard is very good. For the $150 price point this is the best keyboard option available. The apple keyboard is overpriced in comparison to the build quality of this product. It looks great, color matches the iPad, is solid so achieves allowing you to use the iPad on your lap, typing feels great on it, and battery life is awesome. I only recommend a few refinements. 1. The home button while using makes more sense if it was located at the bottom center of the keyboard where a track pad usually is, as that would be more natural and quick to tap while multitasking via a keyboard. 2. While the retention system works perfectly, I would like to see this refined to work more efficiently, it holds well but pulling out and sliding in the ipad takes a lot of effort and isn't a quick efficient fluid motion that makes detaching and re-attaching the keyboard something you can do quick and easily. It is still quick and easy yest but, if you use it you will see what I mean. I would actually rather see a case that has it's own quick clip in or something like that like some of the ASUS tablet / hybrids have done. Or even utilize the magnets, although they may not be strong enough. 3. Possible use of the bottom port vs Bluetooth, my only complaint is the lag of Bluetooth. It lags due to the device sleeping and having to wake up to conserve battery. While this is minor it would be nice to see the device small due to no battery, use the iPad batter, and to have no lag direct connection. 4. needs to be a case to cover the iPad that works with the keyboard, I am debating buying an inexpensive silicon one and cutting out spots for the hinges on this. I would still highly recommend this keyboard though. Great product, best iPad keyboard on the market.

Good quality keyboard. Frustrating letter "O" that is dead unless pressed hard sometimes

I'm not sure if I just have a bad copy or what, but I've found a couple of things: 1) as an original ipad brydge user, before the company was purchased and moved elsewhere, I found that the design is lacking slightly. I find it tougher to open the clamshell because there is no place for easy grasp to separate the keyboard from the ipad. Previously there was a notch at the front of the brydge that made it easy to open (see https://www.dropbox.com/s/oyxb161c8umcwl0/brydge.jpeg) Without it, I fumble with the opening process. 2) I'm seeing that the back of the brydge keyboard swings into the glass of the display which isn't strong enough to mar the glass, but makes me a little nervous opening it each time. 3) Perhaps because of long term use or in combination with #2 above, I found that my ipad screen was cracked at the location of the hinges (on both sides) and therefore from opening repeatedly, the glass has continued to fracture, and now I'm looking at a replacement of my screen (only $40 in parts). I'm wondering if the shims might be improved or may wear down eventually, or if the hinge clamp is too tight and needs to be loosened from other force. In summary: I still see brydge as the top keyboard option in the ipad world, but it's far from perfect.

The "t" "p" and a couple Lo other keys will either double or not print at all. I bought two of them because I didn't know there were other choices. The charge on the batteries would not hold a charge and had to stay plugged in the entire time I was using it.

I can honestly say , the board is great and the connecting hinge attachment is really the best.

I’d gotten a Brydge keyboard for my iPad mini and, while loving the quality, did not have the spacing in order to type very fast. However, the larger version I recently bought for an iPad Pro 9.7” is more than up to the task. Quality build and looks with great key response. The only drawback is minor: on my earlier keyboard it would turn off the iPad mini when closed; it doesn’t do the same on the larger iPad and I’ve run down my battery a few times when I haven’t noticed.
