“I wish this was a proper dock something that actually uses the thunderbolt interface and puts it out to let’s say an Ethernet jack some usb type a ports a couple of hdmi ports, because as it stand I still need dongles hanging off the back which ruins the aesthetic. I would also love a couple type a ports in the front. As it sits it’s just a piece of metal that holds my MacBook vertical I can honestly do this with two book holders or open the laptop a bit and stand it up on the table.... this dock had a lot of potential. Looks decent”

“Was on the fence for a while, wasn't really sure if I "needed this", but after having it can't believe I went this long without it. Very simple, but it cleans the desktop up so much and it makes whatever aesthetic you're going for pop! Best desktop purchase for sure!!!”

“I wanted a vertical stand to help take back some of the precious real estate of my desk. The sleek design and sturdy construction is what appealed to me for this vertical dock. After ordering, I was not let down. The stand looks great aesthetically and has a very solid feel (weighs ~7lbs, 16-in MBP). My disappointment isn't really a fault with the product, but actually a design flaw with the macbook pro. For intel macbook pros, charging the laptop on the left hand side ports and having a small amount of load on the CPU causes a temp spike and the fans to run high/loud. Because of the design of the dock, the orientation of the laptop in the dock forces one to use the left hand ports for connecting to a charger and external monitor. I'm on video calls a lot during the day and the fan was running constantly high. For the price I paid, this small detail made me dis-satisfied enough that I returned the product. Return Experience: You have to pay for your own shipping, and pay a restocking fee. I would recommend just buying from amazon or another third party with better return policies if you're unsure. I'm out like $20 now.
