“I wanted a vertical stand to help take back some of the precious real estate of my desk. The sleek design and sturdy construction is what appealed to me for this vertical dock. After ordering, I was not let down. The stand looks great aesthetically and has a very solid feel (weighs ~7lbs, 16-in MBP). My disappointment isn't really a fault with the product, but actually a design flaw with the macbook pro. For intel macbook pros, charging the laptop on the left hand side ports and having a small amount of load on the CPU causes a temp spike and the fans to run high/loud. Because of the design of the dock, the orientation of the laptop in the dock forces one to use the left hand ports for connecting to a charger and external monitor. I'm on video calls a lot during the day and the fan was running constantly high. For the price I paid, this small detail made me dis-satisfied enough that I returned the product. Return Experience: You have to pay for your own shipping, and pay a restocking fee. I would recommend just buying from amazon or another third party with better return policies if you're unsure. I'm out like $20 now. “This is my 3rd Brydge product. I have paired the vertical stand with the Stone Pro for my MacBook 16, seemed a match made in heaven. The Stone continues to perform well but the vertical stand leaves much to be desired. I hold my breath every time I mount as getting the connections to my monitors is VERY hit or miss. Once in place it typically (but not always) stays connected. I am so dissatisfied that I would return, if not for the restocking fee and then left to the judgement of the staff as to how much refund I deserve.”

“I can’t even tell you how frustrating this is. Not only does Brydge as a company has no QC checks, but they blatantly just don’t care anymore. My package took another day to arrive because Brydge didn’t care that the label was unreadable, they sent me the wrong product all together and missed an item as well. I’ve ordered twice before and this experience is leaving me but just canceling my order and never ordering from them ever again.”

“It's a great product, but even though I nearly always left my MBP in the dock, after two years the ports have given out, and there are no comms between my computer and peripherals. All I can do is put the dock in landfill. The support desk's view is: "Thank you for your response and for sending that photo. This could be an issue with ports over time and use of the Dock not functioning correctly, my sincerest apologies and I wish I had a better solution for you." Be aware before you buy.”
