Overall this is probably the best keyboard for the iPad Pro. There are two areas for improvement: One, occasionally the keyboard will report two key presses to the iPad when I’ve only pressed the button once. This doesn’t happen to me on any other keyboard. Two, the battery life reported to iOS via bluetooth is very inaccurate. I charged it overnight and it claimed only 77% charged. In terms of usable run time, the keyboard has very good battery life. But the battery percentage reporting part of the product is highly inaccurate.

Design is awesome but functionality is not great. Keyboard more than doubles weight of iPad Pro and typing experience is average. Keys are too close together and hard to use bottom of iPad screen. Looks A+, keyboard C.

I have a Brydge keyboard and a Apple Smart Keyboard for my 2108 12.9 iPad Pro. I like the Brydge much better for its typing comfort (keys, palm rest, illumination), color matched case, thoughtful design details, and almost 180 deg display angles. IPad does make the display portion heavier than base and a bit hard to open but overall a great product.

I preordered my keyboard and waited a long time to get it. when I got it I was a little surprised how heavy it is but that just means it is solid. what I don’t like is the hinges. I have already had one set of replacement rubber hinge liners sent to me and the are already shot too. I don’t use my iPad that much and really feel that the hints should hold up better. They are extremely hard to move which is probably to handle the weight of the big ipad but the pressure ruins the rubber in the hinges and it seems Iike the iPad just barely is wide enough to reach the hinges as well. If the hinges worked better this would be a 5 star review
