Pros - Top quality construction; Great battery life; Nice key travel; Good set of “extra” keys - i.e. media playback, brightness etc; Space grey finish matches the iPad Pro perfectly and looks great! Very stable on the lap. Cons - Weight; Keys could be a bit bigger; Return key is too small. In my opinion, the only downside to the 11” model of the keyboard is the weight. It’s almost the same weight as the iPad Pro itself, so while its a nice small footprint, if you’re looking for something ultra-portable, you’re probably better-off with the official Folio. If this is the case, you can take another star off the review. However, if you’re not bothered by this, its an excellent keyboard and the best one I’ve used for the iPad Pro. I get why they’ve matched the footprint of the iPad and it does make for a very stable device on the lap, but it’s disappointing that its so heavy.

I have been using the Brydge iPad keyboard for about a month and am very happy with it. It is quite solid, has a great finger-feel, and allows the screen to be positioned at any angle. It really does “brydge” the gap between an iPad and a laptop! I previously used the corresponding Logitech Bluetooth keyboard case. That is a good product, it but lacks the rigidity required to make typing comfortable when you are sitting, for example, in a car seat (as I am right now). It also has a fixed view angle, which again is frustrating unless you are sitting at a desk. I tried the Apple keyboard in-store and was appalled — it’s flimsy, not backlit , and outrageously expensive. The only two drawbacks of the Brydge product are: - It doesn’t connect by the iPad fastport. But the only alternative product that does is Apple’s, and that is just a terrible option. - It doesn’t provide the protection of a proper case (as Logitech’s does). For future iterations of the Brydge keyboard, I would gladly compromise a bit on style to have a bumper that protects the screen in drops or shocks.

The 12.9 keyboard is perfect, I compared it to the previous keyboard I was using, and this one is by far more ergonomic, and accurate. Highly recommend! I don’t mind the weight, and it feels just like an apple keyboard.
