I like my case and conceptually it’s great. However there are simple yet critical flaws that concern me. -The rubber bumpers that secure the iPad in place come off their metal tips when removing the iPad. So, before i can reinsert the iPad, I need to pull the rubber tips up and over the metal tips to make it functional. Eventually the rubber will rip or be stretched to the point of failure. At that point the case will be useless because the iPad will not stay in place and I’ll risk damage. -The Joints on case were firm for the first few weeks, but I noticed they do weaken over time. I feel like the they will no longer be able to hold the iPad in place (in the laptop position) in a few months. Any feedback you can provide would be greatly appreciated. Thx Gary Susalis

Purchased the Apple cover/keyboard for my iPad 12.9 Pro and was immediately looking for an ILLUMINATED keyboard. Saw the Brydge product; was impressed and waited patiently for the import backlog to ease. My birthday was first part of this month and my kids bought me one. Excitement abounded. Then, I used the thing and, boy, was I disappointed. Illumination was great at first; now it only works if I push button at top of keyboard and then only for a few seconds. The two "clips" that hold the iPad? Worthless. First, difficult to get them to grip the iPad only to watch them ease the iPad out as if squeezing out a baby. If I pull from top to close the iPad down onto keyboard? It becomes unhinged and falls out of the clips. You can't be a quick typist or your paperwork will be ruined...especially so on any repetitive key words like "especially." Those two Ls end up being one and you have to go back and fix the errors. The design? Great ideas. The execution and resulting product? A piece of unmitigated junk not worth $69.00 much less $169.00! I am unbelievably disappointed as I waited months to get what I thought was a sleek looking design but, with the resulting horrible execution, I should have purchased the Kensington product and saved myself the aggravation of being so completely dismayed at the inferior, costly product. Oh well...back to the drawing board, eh?

I have had the Brydge keyboard for a couple weeks and I have very mixed reviews. As expected, this keyboard completely changed the experience for the iPad Pro but I don’t know if that it’s for a good thing. Here a few things I couldn’t take anymore. 1. The weight. The weight is something to consider when buying this product. If I wanted to buy a full fledged computer than I should’ve just purchased the Mac. 2. The Hinge. The hinge is something I thought would be a lot more practical. If you think your about to experience tablet mode or movie mode without a struggle of the rubber hinge. Then you are wrong. Be careful by the way. One slip and you could possible rip the rubber and have more of an issue in the long run. 3. What was the final straw but noticed as soon as I opened the package was a faulty power button. This button was raised in a way to if I were to snag it with a string, it would completely rip off and on top of that I didn’t prefer the keyboard experience at all. I have been contacting this company for a few days now requesting a refund for such product but have yet to receive a response. While this keyboard is beautiful... I regret buying and waiting for this product.

I was incredibly excited to get my long-awaited Brydge keyboard. It really has given me a lot more freedom and has come close to turning my iPad Pro into a laptop. The keyboard is comfortable and easy to type on, and the backlighting is a dream. I love how sturdy the keyboard is and how nice it looks paired with the iPad. The magnetic cover on the back is just OK. It does help protect the back of the iPad, which is great, but it’s definitely not elegant. It looks and feels a bit cheap. The magnet is pretty strong, but the cover does slide around a little, which can cause it to get in the way of the camera or clips. The big issues I’m having relate the operation of the hinge clips to hold the iPad. The nature of my work requires me to switch a few times per day between forward-facing and rear-facing orientations, and it feels like I’m constantly fiddling with the clips. I REALLY wish there was a different solution to have dual positioning that doesn’t require physical removal and re-insertion of the iPad. In just a month of gentle repositioning, the silicone pads covering the clips have already gone from stretching out to constantly popping off when the iPad is removed, to actually ripping and hanging on by a thread. The pads are just not durable enough to put up with frequent repositioning. Another issue is with the hinge mechanism of the clips. The two clips don’t have equal tension, so I have to play with their positioning to properly line them up in order to insert my iPad. And one of the most annoying things is that depending on the angle at which they are open, the hinges occasionally give out while the iPad is inserted, either causing the iPad to fall forward onto the keyboard (or my hands) or to fall backward, splaying flat open. The tension of the hinges definitely seems to be loosening up with use. Putting pressure on the hinge makes this happen more frequently, so when writing on my iPad with the keyboard positioned behind it, I often have to use one hand to hold the iPad up and keep it from flopping over. All in all, I love the protection, versatility, and function of the keyboard, but for the high price tag, I was expecting more durability of the hinged clips.

Love the functionality of my Byrge keyboard but I’m having trouble with the Shims for some reason mind keep tearing even after I had new ones ship in by your very supportive support staff . I believe the the supports or brackets that hold the shims may be bent or misaligned. The reason I say this s cannot get he keyboard to the 180 degree angle. I waited so long for it to arrive I didn’t want to return it and have To wait again for a new one to be sent. So I just tried to persevere

I like the overall experience. I like the movie-mode and don’t get the criticism that it’s sometimes difficult to take it out and turn the iPad around (I find it easy). You have to remember though to turn Bluetooth off. The keyboard though is hit and miss. I’m getting better at it but the 11 inch keyboard is too cramped and I’m still missing letters as I type. If not for autocorrect, I’d find it frustrating. As it is given this is a keyboard I can’t mark it higher than a 3. Improve the keyboard and you have a graham product.

Already having issues with the rubber on the feet that hold the ipad tearing. Have reached out to customer service twice with no answer. Disappointing for how much this product costs and the potential for it to be great to have no product support. Spend your money on a product supported by a real brand.

Overall the new keyboard is good however the hinge is considerably looser than on the previous Brydge keyboards I have purchased. When the keyboard if flat and the tablet is a an angle of roughly 120 degrees and I tap the screen the hinge moves and opens until the tablet hits the table or my knees. If I try to position the tablet at 140 degrees or more it will not hold in position it will simply fall open. A bit frustrating
