It was a long wait but it was worth it. The Brydge Pro has turned my iPad Pro 11 from a useful piece of kit into a workhorse. I don’t use my laptop so much now. It is a quality item and crucially the keyboard is good enough to touch type; maybe slightly larger keys would have improved it but there is limited real estate to work with. My iPad looks like a MacBook, except it’s more portable and versatile. When I use my MacBook now, I find myself touching the screen. It’s very well designed and right now, it’s the best way to make your iPad a go to rather than a toy.

Fine apart from the number 3 repeating itself unless you are very quick lifting your finger off. Excellent battery life

I LOVED this keyboard the second I received it. However, I started to notice one of the hinges was loose and not holding onto my ipad securely. I thought, “ehh its not the end of the world”. However, when opening it up one day, my ipad came completely out of the case and almost fell to the ground (thankfully I was able to save my ipad from breaking). I contacted customer service and sent them pictures/videos and explained my concern. They offered to fix it if I sent it back and I paid for shipping. Fair enough. However, I have yet to do this because... The response I got from customer service was kind of...rude. I was told that I bent the ipad/case beyond 360 degrees and caused the hinge to loosen. I told them that I DID NOT do that at all and got a response along the lines of “I appreciate that, but you did”. Now, in my head, if I had bent the case back 360 degrees, both hinges should be loose, not just one. Also, I attempted to squeeze the hinge myself to tighten it. It wouldn’t budge. I think we’ve all seen the youtube videos of the ipad being snapped in half without much effort. If I had pushed back on the case/hinges, I would think the ipad would give & bend before these hinges would. Needless to say, I was not happy with how I was spoken to. As much as I LOVE this case, I am nervous to send it back to get it fixed just for it to potentially happen again (I would have lost it if my ipad successfully landed on the ground smashed up). I have no idea what caused the hinge to loosen & thus no way to know how to prevent it in the future. Apparently all Brydge could tell me was it was my fault and wouldn’t listen when I told them I didn’t do what they say I did. They had no interest in looking into the issue any further. Needless to say, I am SUPER bummed :(

I ordered a fancy and expensive Brydge keyboard for my new iPad Pro and was told it would arrive by mid May. Then in early May I received a notification that my product had shipped, from China and would need another two weeks of processing at their warehouse before it arrived. Hearing nothing for a week and a half I inquired about the status and was told it would be another two weeks...poor planning and customer service to say the least. Now as I settled into learning and adapting to my new keyboard, it stopped working. One night it was fine, the next morning it would not turn on, despite having been on the charger all evening...so I know it wasn’t a battery issue. These are expensive keyboards and the company cannot seem to deliver on the premium experience promised by their marketing and pricing structure. Avoid them and stick with the OEM Apple keyboard even though it has its weak points.
